How it works
Chiropractic is a healthcare approach that focuses on diagnosing, treating and preventing disorders of the spine and central nervous system. Through our practice, we aim to identify and correct the cause of health issues which occur when the body is misaligned.
Practitioners follow a course of action similar to that of a doctor, providing an initial consultation and reviewing the patient’s case history. This approach gives us the opportunity to thoroughly access our diagnosis before treatment, ensuring that you get the treatment that’s right for you.
There are many benefits to choosing chiropractic treatment; chiropractic physicians will conduct a careful analysis of your structure, paying particular attention to any possible misalignments in the spine.
Our holistic approach also brings a very important dimension to the treatment. Looking at your lifestyle, the amount of exercise you do and your stress levels at home and at work - we’ll be better equipped to provide a tailored treatment that works for you.
Finding the root of the problem
Chiropractic takes a very different approach to the average GP; we believe that masking pain and treating symptoms is not an effective approach to healthcare. Instead, we seek the origin of the illness in order to eliminate it entirely.
We believe that our patients should not settle for a life of indefinite medication; quite the contrary. By manipulating and realigning your spine and central nervous system, we seek to encourage your body to heal itself.
Chiropractors have a term for misalignments: subluxations. A vertebral subluxation is a misalignment of the bones that protect the spinal cord. Such misalignments can lead to interference with the central nervous system, causing a wide range of issues, the vast majority of which can be easily treated by taking a chiropractic approach.
